Santa Visit

We went and saw Santa tonight! We tried to go this weekend, which we should have known would be a bad idea. But we tried, and we got there, and there was a TWO hr wait. OMG.. we turned right around and went home.
So we tried again tonight, and it went much smoother, we were a little worried at first, since Santa's sleigh broke down and he was about 30 min late, but once he made is appearance the line went pretty fast, and we only ended up waiting about an hr or so. Luckily, while we waited Maile got to play in this winter wonderland area. They have a little tent sectioned off, with netting where you can have a snowball fight. Brilliant idea, the kids loved it!


Here is Maile, taking it all in before she decides to join.

As soon as she jumped in, she went all out. Here she is ganging up on a little boy, getting ready to pelt him one. He's begging for mercy! (Not really he was playing the pity card)

The girls decided to let him free... this time!

Then this other little boy, starts taunting Maile.. really taunting. "Bet you can't hit me with a snowball!" Well Maile took that bet.. ooohhh just missed him.

Direct hit... right to the back.. as you can see, she's enjoying it immensely!

This time there's no mercy....

One last good throw, right on target. Choose carefully next time little boy, little girls can surprise you! She may be little but she's got a great arm!

We finally get up to see Santa, and we have been prepping her for a couple weeks on how it's going to go. She gets to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she's like for xmas, and then she'll get a candy cane. We had her at candy cane, that girl will do anything for candy. HA HA. She was definately a little shy when we went up to see him, but she got on his lap, and told him what she wanted... a candy cane. He said.. " I think I can handle that.. help yourself " She hopped down, and she was the happiest little girl! Santa totally delivered this year.
