Great News

So on my drive home tonight, I got a call from Nicole, and she had some GREAT news. They were told today that the boys were ready to come home. It's been 17 days since they were born and they are doing fabulous. They get to BOTH go home tomorrow afternoon. At first they thought Ethan would have to stay a little longer than Conner because he was a little smaller, but it turns out he's keeping up quite well with his brother.

Nicole and Mark are both so excited to have them both home and to themselves for once. No wires, and tubes, and nurses constantly checking on them. Free to hold them for as long as they want. I'm excited for them both!

It's going to be a whole new experiance too, it's finally going to be real for them.

It also means that I don't get to visit tomorrow, which is a bummer, since I was kind of going through with drawls. But I completely understand, they want the first day home to be quiet and low key. They can be hermits for the next two weeks if that's what they need. I've been there, and I was that hermit :) I'm just happy they have two healthy babies to love and cuddle all by themselves.
