So we carved pumpkins a couple nights before halloween, and Maile had a blast, she was so focused this year, and her expression clearly shows you how involved she is. She wouldn't even smile for me. But she LOVED painting the pumpkins, and she was feeling the halloween spirit and chose black as her go to color. Crazy girl :). Here's a couple pictures from the evening.
She actually did a really good job of cleaning out her own pumpkin, and actually stuck her hands right in there and got it out. GO MAILE! But then decided a spoon was more fun.
She started doing this funky spoon robot dance. she's so silly.
Finally the painting can begin!!!
Mikael was being super secretive about his pumpkin and was all the way on the other side of the table, and wouldn't let us look.
Maile's first pumpkin, completely covered in black paint, she even painted the inside.

On to the second pumpkin, she was a little tired after the first one so she was less enthusiastic about painting him.
