So we finally found an xmas ornament for Maile, we try every year to find an ornament that is representative of Maile that year. First xmas was of course Babies First Christmas, Second Xmas was Elmo mailing a Santa letter, and this year is Our little Artist. We all found it very suiting for her. Even she refered to herself as the bear. It was cute.
Then she proceeded to spend the afternoon working on a "piece" HA HA. Oh and by the way this is the nifty easel/chalkboard/erase board that Tara and Daniel got for her. I mentioned it last blog but couldn't find a picture. Well here it is :)! So cute. 
After we finished our drawing, and had some dinner, we venture out in the night to look at christmas lights. One of my families traditions. Maile was super sleepy from the busy week, so we only last a little bit. Right by our house though is a big church, and that night they were having a live nativity scene. We thought it might be fun to go check it out, and it seemed to be drawing a big crowd. Turns out they had the whole nativity scene complete with ox, and sheep and two CAMELS!! There were the cutest things too. We were literally an arms reach away from one of their noses. Maile seemed to think they were pretty cool. I felt so sorry for the actual people though, it was like 10 degrees that night, and a light wind. BURRRRR!! Then came time to prepare for the big night, we wanted Santa to get lots of energy, so we thought giving him som high sugar complex carbohydrates would do the trick. She was such a big girl to carry the plate to the tree. Such focus!

Then we headed up to bed for a few christmas stories, and a good night carol. It only took about a minute before she was dreaming of sugar plums.
