Have I mentioned I hate Errors

Well technology has cursed me again.
First of all let me preface by saying that printers have never liked me and they always crash when I most need them. But this week, being that my computer hates me as well, I think they are ganging up and rebeling against me.

We were trying to print a form, a simple form, black and white, no pictures. NO BIG DEAl. It prints one page, and then an error pops up just an error number and nothing else. No explaination, and nothing works. Just an insane blinking light and that damn error number. So we check out the manual, there is no information about this error in the book anywhere. So we look it up online, and of course there are many many different ideas about how to fix them. We did the fairly easy to handle ones, but nothing seems to be working. Luckily for the printer, my husband bought the warranty and it will be returned tomorrow for a working one. Otherwise, it might have ended up in a field somewhere, in pieces because someone.. took a baseball bat to it, and then ran over it 10 times with a tractor.

So what angers me, besides all of my technology not working this weekend, is the fact that in any of the help options on both of my points of issue were not helpful one bit. Why have a help button, or book if it's not going to be able to ah... help you. I know it's an insane idea, but how about you put a list of error in the manual that explains what they are. Not just the common ones! How about you make thing easy to take out, and put back in.. say the printer head, so you can check if it's clogged or not! How about you make things universal, so you don't have to go out and buy or download something new for every damn thing you have to do to your computer! OR here's an idea.. how about you make something that works for longer than a year.. what a concept.
