This is right before the train ride, we had just gotten there, and she was slightly overwhelmed by all the people and being on a train, she sort of looks scared, but she did have fun once she relaxed a little.
I swear she tried to open every single door, on every single house. Of course none of them opened, but it didn't stop her from trying.
Crawling into small spaces was another favorite thing.. smaller the better.
There was a little park near the end, and we all know that Maile loves the park, she even got up enough courage to try the big twirly slide.. She's never tried before. We were very proud parents.. ha ha. She was pretty proud herself and went down a few more times.
One of the better pictures of the day.. she is actually smiling!! She did have fun.
This was her reaction when we told her it was time to leave.. she ran into the first door, and ran to the back.. darn well knowing that neither her dad or I could climb in there after her.. she is way too smart for being 2. Clever girl...
...we eventually bribed her to come out, tell her she could go play on the windmill, last stop of the day.
and this is my favorite picture of the whole day.. and it was on the way to the car after we had left, she was giggling up a storm and having a blast. Daddy looks pretty happy too. This one is a framer for sure!

Tomorrow is the 4th, whoo hoo. Mikael has to work until 2 but then we are heading up to Parker and enjoying a little festival up there. They have kids activities and concerts, and their fireworks show is set to music.. should be fun. We are going to pack a picnic, take a blanket and some chairs, and head down for the night. We can't wait!!
